蜜桃传媒最新版下载 University is hosting a lecture as part of the History Center抯 Lincoln Bicentennial Series entitled, 揓efferson, Lincoln, Obama and the Meaning of America.� Free and open to the public, this lecture will be held from 2-3 p.m. March 24 in Room A133 of the Academic Building on the Romeoville campus.
Dr. Mark Schultz, professor of history, will discuss how America is an idea, as much as it is a place. He also poses the question of how the idea of America has evolved from its founding document, written by Jefferson, to its 19th century version, shaped by Lincoln, to its modern symbol, Obama.
The lecture is also being presented as part of 蜜桃传媒最新版下载 University抯 Arts & Ideas program, providing cultural and educational programming for students and the community free of charge or for a nominal fee.
